Our surf camp has built a reputation as a friendly destination for all types of surfers. We extend an open and supportive hand to all your inquiries, whether it be about learning how to surf or how to make the best of your vacation here in Sri Lanka.

Our villa is spacious, comfortable, and filled with all the facilities you may need, including accommodation, meals, bath, and more. We are located only a 5-minute drive away from the world-famous Unawatuna and Dewata beaches. Both of these destinations are peaceful and perfect for surfing. We also have a beach house equipped with its own restaurant right on the Dewata beach. We conduct our main beginner surf guiding at Dewata.

Hemica Surf Camp operates with the ultimate purpose of building a nurturing, safe, and valuable “home away from home” for surfers. You may have not surfed at all or you may have decades of surfing experience – whatever it is we have amazing freedom-filled and adventurous lessons and surfing sessions for all.

Our framework includes recruiting local talent and supporting their livelihoods while building a sustainable surf camp that is kind to our patrons, staff, as well as the gloriously beautiful nature all around us. As a result, we take extra care to ensure high standards in everything we do.
