Surf Guiding
When you enter and surf at our camp, you will leave as a better surfer. Hemica Surf Camp provides all basic and advanced surf guidance in all of our packages.
We conduct post-surfing video and photograph analysis of your surfing. Our professionals check your surfing videos and photographs to identify your surfing level, strengths, and drawbacks. We then help you solidify your strengths and reduce your weaknesses.
Surf guiding for any level will be provided to you even if you have never surfed before or if you are a professional. We do both practical and theory surfing sessions covering all phases of your surfing. Our members can explain and advice you on all what you need to know about surfing in Sri Lanka.
We can organise different experiences, in safe and small waves or tall and challenging waves. Morning or evening surfing in many surfing hotspots can be arranged. Our surf guidance is unique as we personalise it to your ability and preferences.
Accommodation
Our surf camp provides you with accommodation and all the other facilities you will need. We have a superior double room that is comfortably large-sized bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. This double bedroom comes with a king-sized bed and its own bathroom. This private bathroom has a toilet, shower, towels, and other basic amenities. We provide a ceiling fan as well as air-conditioners to keep your room at the right temperature at all times. Free Wi-Fi access is available throughout our villa.
The swimming pool and beautiful tropical garden with a number of plants, trees, and birds will help you relax in style! We have ultra-comfortable chillout areas and even a pool table! With the warm sunshine, cool winds, and perfect weather, you can grab a fresh smoothie, dessert, or join in our fun-filled activities. We have a “camp vibe” that has a nice balance of a social playground and a hangout place with freedom for all.
Enjoy a diversity of healthy and freshly prepared food from the region
You can enjoy a number of healthy local cuisines at our surf camp. We provide a mix of traditional Sri Lankan and European meals. There are options for all types of meals, including vegetarians, vegans, and gluten-free. Our food will make your taste buds dance as they are delicious and rich in nutrients. We have our own in-house kitchen and chefs who will provide the energy you need for surfing and yoga.
All our meals will be freshly cooked with love. The ingredients we use are directly purchased from local markets. These include Sri Lankan fruits, vegetables, and spices. We provide breakfast as well as regional snacks, tea, coffee, and fruits. Yes, we also have drinks and other common items! These are available in our surf house from morning to midnight.
Transport
Transportation services are available to all our surfers from and to the airport and our surf camp. We have our own team of guides. Our guests take part in daily explorations to the nearby surf spots or even further away.
The surfing spot explorations depends on the appropriate surfing skill, weather, tides, and time. We will take you to beaches and surf spots with the best breaks along the southern coastal area.
Usually, we travel together using Sri Lanka’s famous tuk-tuks and we are guided by the weather and the abilities of our guests. It is our aim to provide you with the best experience in surfing in Sri Lanka.
